Mission Statement

The Mission of the Missouri S&T Environmental Health and Safety Department is to support the academic and campus community in fulfilling its commitment to teaching, research, and public service. The Environmental Health and Safety Department endeavors to facilitate protection of human health and the environment, to ensure compliance with all environmental regulations, to use campus resources wisely, to design programs that are easy to use and non-intrusive, if at all possible, and to focus on preventative strategies to eliminate potential risks.
